08.30.08  Bryant McKinney Suspended 4 Games!!
Posted in Pro Football at 4:30 pm

Minnesota Vikings left tackle Bryant McKinnie has been suspended by the
NFL without pay for the team’s first four regular-season games for
violating the league’s personal conduct policy. McKinnie was involved in a
brawl outside of a Miami night club in February. According to a police
report, he was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, among other
charges. This is not his first brush with the law. He was also fined a game
check in 2006 after he pled guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. On the
field, McKinnie has been a force for the Vikings. He has started the last 87
games for the team at left tackle and is widely considered one of the better
at his position in the league. Let that be a lesson to other NFL stars that if
you bash someone over the head with a pipe you too can be suspended for
only four games. We were not there so we can’t say for sure if the pipe over
the head is true. Thats what rumors say happened though.

08.29.08  Chad Johnson now Chad Ocho Cinco!!
Posted in Pro Football at 9:58 pm

When the league rules would not permit Bengals wide receiver to put his
nick name Ocho Cinco on the back of his jersey Chad new he had to do
something. That something was to get his last name legally changed to
“Ocho Cinco”. What can the NFL say about it now? All I can say about it is
man this guy is too funny. For as big of a pain in the a#$ as he has been to
the Bengals oranization how can they not just laugh about this one. I know I
am.
